Today we will walk a little farther down the street to a Bridal Shop. It's so worth the walk.
Oh, how beautiful everything is and especially clean looking. Pristine white and soft creams.
Sometimes it takes a little more time and effort to go into the best shops because we take detours or get sidetracked by someone or something. But once we get where we are suppose to be, it's GREAT!!!!
If you think about it, it is actually a straight shot to where we want to go.I don't know about you but I don't like taking the looooong way around and getting off on wrong streets, but, I do.
Why is that?
Am I stupid, dumb or ignorant?
No, I guess I'm human. I want to go my own way.
The Bridal Shop is sooooo beautiful, especially when you have waited for the right time and the right person to spend the rest of you life with. Our Father knew the exact moment and person He had chosen for us, because He wants us to prosper and have hope.
Jeremiah wrote that his Father told him, on the 29th at 11 and again on the 12th and 13th that, "When you call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and Find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. "
I think that's where I go wrong. I half-heartily seek and search.
What about you? OR........ Do you go at all?
Maybe you are one of those that has everything all figured out. Oh, what misery you must be in.And then we wonder why everything is in such a mess.
I have decided to choose the easy way and go my Father's way, not mine. He even wrote an instruction manual on all I'll ever need to know. Remember that exciting book, I've been reading for years and can't put down and keep re-reading?
(This post is dedicated to my true life-mate, who's birthday is today and to my daughter who married 1 year ago today. It's the best birthday present ever received by my husband. He received a wonderful son-n-law.
Thank you Father for sending my treasures their life-mates. It was well worth talking to you about it since they were very small children.)
