"Whispering Pssssst"

Let's jump across the street to the Sound Shop.
There are sounds coming from everywhere inside.
BOOM - BANG, CLASHes & CLANGs, LOUD HORNs BLARING, BLOWING WIND, RAIN, THUNDER & LIGHTENING, EARTHQUAKES, TORNADOes, HURRICANEs APPROACHING, ROARING FIREs, SCREAMs ...... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH
The sounds are deafening so hurry, hold you ears as we go in.
All of those sounds definitely get my attention! Do they get yours? Look around and listen.

As I am walking down the isle of LIFE, I can see how useful these sounds have been in my life.

But now as I move to the back of the shop, I hear a "gentle whisper". It is so soft that I can actually hear it over those loud sounds.
Why in the world would that be in a Sound Shop? It's hardly the kind of sound to be heard in this place.

And then I remembered a most profound moment in my life, told to me by 1 King, "Go out, and stand on the mountain before Yaweh." (11-12 times if needed)

(And behold, Yewah passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces, B U T Yaweh was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake; but Yaweh was not in the earthquake; and after the earthquake a fire, but Yeweh was not in the fire; and after the fires a still small voice).
So it was then that I heard it..........the whisper so gentle yet so resounding to my soul.

I knew at that moment, my answers were sometimes in the "psssst" (gentle whispers).

Yaweh wants us to be still and listen quietly.

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, can you hear Him?

"It's a Celebration"

Today we will walk a little farther down the street to a Bridal Shop. It's so worth the walk.

Oh, how beautiful everything is and especially clean looking. Pristine white and soft creams.

Sometimes it takes a little more time and effort to go into the best shops because we take detours or get sidetracked by someone or something. But once we get where we are suppose to be, it's GREAT!!!!

If you think about it, it is actually a straight shot to where we want to go.I don't know about you but I don't like taking the looooong way around and getting off on wrong streets, but, I do.

Why is that?
Am I stupid, dumb or ignorant?
No, I guess I'm human. I want to go my own way.

The Bridal Shop is sooooo beautiful, especially when you have waited for the right time and the right person to spend the rest of you life with. Our Father knew the exact moment and person He had chosen for us, because He wants us to prosper and have hope.

Jeremiah wrote that his Father told him, on the 29th at 11 and again on the 12th and 13th that, "When you call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and Find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. "

I think that's where I go wrong. I half-heartily seek and search.

What about you? OR........ Do you go at all?

Maybe you are one of those that has everything all figured out. Oh, what misery you must be in.And then we wonder why everything is in such a mess.

I have decided to choose the easy way and go my Father's way, not mine. He even wrote an instruction manual on all I'll ever need to know. Remember that exciting book, I've been reading for years and can't put down and keep re-reading?

(This post is dedicated to my true life-mate, who's birthday is today and to my daughter who married 1 year ago today. It's the best birthday present ever received by my husband. He received a wonderful son-n-law.
Thank you Father for sending my treasures their life-mates. It was well worth talking to you about it since they were very small children.)

Father, I choose Your plans and purpose for my life!

DON'T EAT THOSE SEEDS

As we walk down W. O. W. Street let's visit the "Seed Shop" and see what to plant (learn).
As Luke was helping he said, "beware of sandy soil, brier patches, and hard rocky soil".
The instructions were simple and were included with each seed packet (lessons taught). But, the problem I was having, when planted, it fell on the wrong kind of soil. I didn't learn and follow the instructions you see, I'd EAT THE SEEDS (imagine that).
The Master Gardner had given me clear directions but I did my own thing. They were given to me over, and over, but I refused to follow them. The ground is now fertile and I refuse to EAT THE SEEDS , instead I'll sow them.
Now..let's see what I should sow.
"FORGIVENESS" "BOLDNESS w/some HUMBLE SPIRIT" "FAITHFULNESS" "STRENGTH"

I think I'll TRUST the Master Gardner and let Him tell me what I need to sow.

Oh, by the way, ...Do you remember the book I have been reading over and over and over for 27+ years? Well, This lesson is found in the section entitled, Luke 8:11-15. What an awesome Book!

Put on Your Walking Shoes & Come Along

Hi there my friends, family and soon to be bloggers.
Are you wondering what in the world I am doing traveling down a street and inviting you to travel with me? Well put on your walking shoes and come along.
I have some exciting "Wonders of Worship" to impart.
But first let me introduce myself. I have been reading, for about 27 1/2 years, the most exciting book ever written. I've finished it several times but I keep reading due to new things discovered daily. WOW is the only way to describe the excitement I experience. I'll try to keep you updated on the new discoveries as we travel along. I need to warn you ahead of time there will be some deep potholes at times, but don't worry............the only way out is to go up.
I am a native Texan by birth but a Georgia girl by heart. My main squeeze and I have been together for 37 years and are in love today more than we were on the day we married. (I would love to renew our vows on our anniversary.) Then we were given three treasures from heaven who not only are part of my heart and soul, but then they brought more treasures into my life with their lifemates and then more treasures are coming along as my grandchildren are born. I now have 2 boys (punkin heads), and 1 littl girl ( honey bunny).
I hope you are as excited as I am as we travel along this street and pop into the shops and houses to find hope, peace, and joy.
